This is one of the wildest GT-R’s I’ve ever shot. Pushing out close to 1000 PS and with a record 1/4 mile time of 8.950 this BNR32 is actually still a fully legal street car! Gotta love Japan! Built by Garage Saurus, one of the most famous drag shops in the country, this car is owned by a good customer and a member of the Hayashi Racing team (884R). On top of all the engine work, which includes an N1 block, HKS 2.8L Step 3 kit, HKS T51R SPL turbine and a Hollinger sequential gearbox, the owner decided to go a bit crazy with the bodywork too. So he literally had the car “carbonized!” Every panel is carbon and has been panted to show the underlaying fibers of the precious composite. Even the roof has been cut out and replaced with a honeycomed carbon fiber structure! Just take a look at the pix below to appreciate all the work that has gone into this R32.
19-inch BBS LMs are used on the street. Project µ brake-kit peeks through the spokes
The bonnet is actually untreated dry-carbon. Its matte, rough finish is pure race car
No it isn’t a big carbon look sticker!
The quality of the composite work is simply outstanding
The T51R is unleashed at 2.4 bar!! Probably why the intercooler piping is welded on most joints
The boot of your regular street driven GT-R in Japan
Next to the Neko Corporation AF700 A/F meter is the Hollinger gear position display
